                           How We Make an Impact

Charity League currently partners with the following Title I CMS locations:
Albemarle Road Elementary              Hidden Valley Elementary
Devonshire Elementary                      Sterling Elementary

At least 98% of the children attending these schools are living at or below the poverty level and lack basic necessities that contribute to their well-being and success.

Create Service HUBS

Our CLC Hubs in each school are filled with critical care items such as hygiene supplies, clothing, shoes and uniforms. Teachers and staff members can distribute these items directly to students as needed. And then, every month, we send volunteers to each location to organize, inventory and restock them with new merchandise.

Support Literacy Programs

It is important to build relationships with our partner schools, so they can consistently rely on us for academic support as well.

Charity League provides funding for annual school book fairs, and enhances classroom libraries with collections of high interest books that appeal to their student population.

We also support the Greater Enrichment Program (GEP), which currently provides after-school care to students at three out of four of our CMS partner schools. We provide STEM and STEAM materials, technology equipment, toys, puzzles and manipulatives for use in their educational programs.

Recognize & Celebrate Teachers

Nobody works harder for the children we are serving than teachers and school staff. Charity League members celebrate their dedication with various appreciation events throughout the year, providing recognition and special treats to let them know how important they are to the community. Maintaining low teacher turnover in Title I schools provides stability and consistency for the students.
